Gatekeeper Program

(The Bay County Sheriff’s Office currently provides a great service to the community called The“Gatekeeper” Program. If you have a friend or family member that lives alone and needs someone to check up on them, you can sign up for this program. Someone from the Sheriff’s office will call your friend or family member daily. If they do not answer the phone, a deputy is dispatched to check on them in person. You can contact Deputy Larry Granger with the Bay County Sheriff’s Office at (850) 271-3152 for more information or to sign up. The Bay County Alzheimer’s Alliance, Inc. is a proud donor and supporter of the “Gatekeeper” program.)
